About Me

I am Haoyue Jiang, a graduate researcher at UC Berkeley, affiliated with Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.

My research combines photoemission spectroscopy, ultrafast optics, and scientific instrumentation to investigate the electronic structure of quantum materials. I am interested in both the physics we can measure and the instruments that make those measurements possible.

Research

Photoemission and quantum materials

I use angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES) to investigate the electronic structure of quantum materials, with a particular interest in cuprate superconductors.

Ultrafast spectroscopy

I work on high-harmonic-generation (HHG) sources and time-resolved ARPES instrumentation, connecting ultrafast optical techniques with measurements of electronic structure.

X-ray optics and interferometry

My instrumentation work includes the development of Fourier-transform X-ray spectroscopy (FTXR), with a focus on interferometry, optical alignment, experimental control, and data analysis.

Publications

My publication record is available on Google Scholar. My researcher identifier is ORCID.
